Psalm 90:1-2 Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Open the window, Lord, for me, my friends and family and church to apprehend the bigness of the Almighty. Free our mind of the constraints that logic and reason would impose on us. Open us up to wonder, beauty, majesty, the music of the cosmos, the poetry, the great dance. Balance within us reason and imagination because both bear truth.

And lift us out of the mundane, the triviality, the sedation of consumerism, the distractions. Lead us to the edge and push us so that we might fly. This universe, this planet, life itself – oh Lord, help us see and hear and touch and smell the absolute wonder and beauty. May we soar. May we soar in your love and magnificence. May we dance to the music of Creation.

I love you everlasting God, Creator of all that is.
