Dunstable Church for Adults
The Dunstable Church believes in Christian education for everyone. An adult Bible Study class is held every Sunday morning and Tuesday evening.
Currently a Bible study on the Letters of Peter is in progress and can be attended in person or on Zoom at 9:00 AM Sundays. A history of the first 1500 years of Christianity is also in progress on Tuesday evenings on Zoom.
There are many ways that the men and women of the Dunstable church can volunteer their time and talent to serve others. Here are some examples: teaching, caring for babies during the service, greeting people as ushers, working in the sound booth, actor for our Christmas Living Nativity, providing practical assistance to sick or elderly, and many others.
The Christian life is meant to be lived in community. We offer regular opportunities for people to come closer together in love and support for each other. Past and present opportunities include monthly men’s breakfast, women’s retreat, whole church retreat, community group for book discussion and sharing life together.
Part of growing in love and community is having fun together! We regularly eat together and socialize with all ages invited. Some of our recent events have included a Christmas in July BBQ, pot luck lunch or dinner, and Let’s Do Lunch at nearby restaurant or someone’s home.
